Sega's Mega Drive/Genesis Mini was recently revealed for a September 19 worldwide launch, and so far 10 of the mini-console's 40 games have been announced. Sega followed up with a pair of trailers highlighting the Japanese version, which will feature some games you won't see in other regions. Check out the first video previews of the console and the first set of included games below.
Here's renowned composer Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage, Actraiser, Etrian Odyssey) confirming his work on the Mini's menu music.
I'm proud to join the Genesis mini project doing music for the menu lined up the great games. I programmed the music dedicated to YM2612 sound chip playing authentic Genesis/MegaDrive sound with many soundbanks chosen from actual games in the menu. I hope you guys like it!
