Moving on.

Still moving somewhat slow.....so I will show you what I was doing the morning BEFORE my  attempt at gymnastics.

I used my handy dandy yellow wheel barrow (money well spent, I tell ya')  to pick up all the jeans that fell on the ground when the cable clothes line broke.

I hiked them up to the porch, moved the table near the electrical outlet under the window, and used my Eastman Chickadee cutter to cut all the jean tops off.

They were all still pretty wet  damp, so they had to be hung up AGAIN to dry.

I know this looks a little  redneck, but it is what it is.

Sydney says:

Redneck.

Well, they are all taken down now, so not to worry.  It was a temporary thing.

I have kind of a confession to make.   I have been a slug when it comes to exercising.   For some time, actually.  I would work at the studio all day, come home, have dinner, and couch it.  I would spend the evening reading, blogging, working on my web site, knitting, whatever.
When it came to getting my butt out the door to walk, I had an excuse, always.
This hurt, that hurt, it was too hot, too cold.
I did have a legitimate reason not to walk when my plantar fascitis was raging, but I also didn't take the time to get something done to it, until I could hardly walk.
In the past year or so, when I did walk, they were pitiful ones, and Eddie gave me an excuse, because he was old, and got so tired, so quickly.
Then Eddie left us, hopefully for greener pastures.  And something snapped.
In the almost two months we have had Roy, I have missed two days of walking him at least 3 miles.  TWO.   DAYS.
I look at his sweet face, bury my face in his neck while he sits on my lap and he tries to lick me, and there is no way that I am not putting his and my walk FIRST.
I no longer leave it until the end of the day without a plan.  If I know that I am going to be busy in the evening, then I make time during the day.
I work my day AROUND it, instead of leaving it to chance.
One day a week, we walk 5 miles.
Does my titanium knee hurt??  Heck, yes.  Sometimes my foot hurts, too, although it is almost perfect.
But once I sink my teeth into something, it's on.
And it's on.   I find that the more I walk, the easier it is, and the more I love it.  I look forward to it.
The challenge, of course, will be to keep walking when it is freezing out.
Check back with me.  I am going to give it my best shot.

Hmm.  Roy may need a coat.

And thanks for all your well wishes.  I hurt, but I am healing.
You know me.  Moving is the answer to just about everything.
