I wonder whether the Queen watches many films.
If she does it must be really weird to see actors playing her mum and dad.
It begs the question of whether she would approve of this portrayal of King George VI and his other half, who later went on to be the national treasure as Queen Mother.
Roger Michell's gently funny movie surrounds the royal couple's visit to meet President Franklin Roosevelt at his country retreat shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War.
King George (Samuel West) tries to persuade Roosevelt (Bill Murray) that the Americans should back the Brits in the war against Hitler.
Roosevelt likes the royals but they take a little time to warm to his eccentricities and his complicated relationships with the women in his life.
These include his distant cousin, Daisy (Laura Linney), his PA, Missy (Elizabeth Marvel), his wife Eleanor (Olivia Williams) an his mother (Elizabeth Wilson).
Linney's character is at the centre of the plot, narrating what develops into a love story between her and the president.
She is nicely understated, bordering on naive alongside Murray who plays Roosevelt with a wily twinkle in his eye.
Meanwhile, West and Olivia Colman (one of my favourite British actresses) are a sparkling double act as the king and queen.
Would the real monarch recognise them as her parents. Only she would know but they contribute to a frothy comedy drama which gained approval from both Mrs W and myself.
